Actually, this won't work. I thought using the appdir flag would be sufficient to satisfy the requirement mentioned in caveats, but it just makes a symlink which isn't enough.

It also doesn't seem that using the caskroom flag will work either, because cask will still add the application name and version to the path it created in /Applications.

If anyone can think of a better way to solve this then great, otherwise it may not be possible right now.

#1722 leads me to believe a fix hasn't been found yet.
